Moonlight fire eclipsed the night
A broken day became twilight
I’m afraid
We might be too late
It’s ok
We’ll be alright
As long as I
Can see your eyes
In the candlelight
It’s just another moonless night

A memory has come to rest
Within my troubled head
I’ve lived life long enough to know
Which forms and faces trouble takes
And Recollection tends
To be a gracious host
When trouble is awake

Wisdom glistens on his brow
All the while, He looks down
And from the earth comes life
From the ground comes night
As does the day from shadow form
The elements of life
Are always morning born

In the void,
Eternity keeps the tempo
Infinity keeps the beat
The Universe plays on
While the rest of us
Tune our instruments today
For tomorrow is a song
We prepare to play tonight
